Framing
R. Roberts Gallery offers complete, on-site custom framing services. We have more than 1,000 molding choices to choose from as well as matting, liners, and fillets.
We pride ourselves in keeping your artwork alive by using only museum-quality products and we’ll work with you to select a frame and style that will enhance and augment your artwork. The Gallery is capable of framing almost anything that you cherish and want to preserve.
Art Consultation
Whether purchasing art to reflect a personal style, enhance a particular environment and/or as an investment that will appreciate in value, the staff at R. Roberts Gallery recognizes that each client’s needs and interests are unique.
We represent a broad assortment of over 5000 regional, national and internationally based artists who work in a variety of forms, including:

With many styles and forms to work with, we can accommodate any budget and taste.
Consultations begin with a visit to your home, office, or other space that needs attention. During this visit we will discuss your budget, what you want to accomplish and establish a sense of your art tastes and preferences. We’ll diagram the space and take all necessary measurements.
In our second meeting, we’ll present artwork for you to consider that meet the criteria established during the initial consultation. We’ll guide you through the process in a way that assures you’ll make selections that are right for you. We will then assist you with choosing framing treatments that present the artwork effectively. Once framing is complete, we will deliver and install your new artwork.

Portraiture
R. Roberts Gallery represents a variety of portrait artists to capture your subject in an extraordinary light. Our skilled artists work in pastels, oils, and a variety of other media to suit your preferences.

Art Restoration
R. Roberts Gallery, in conjunction with Von Hawk Laboratories, offers complete restoration services including:
- Painting repair: canvas and pigment replacement, consolidation of pigments in painting and glazing. Linings, varnish removed, stretcher repair, tear and hole repair, canvas rejuvenation.
- Frame repair: recasting of lost carvings, the cleaning of gold leaf as well as traditional gold and silver leaf application.
- Paper art and photography repair: removal of molds, stains and insect infestations, deacidification, repair of tears and holes, incapsulations and attachments.
- Structural analysis: x-ray, scanning electron microscope, pigment cross sections, optical and mechanical property evaluations.
After the art is accepted, a treatment proposal of restoration procedures and cost will be explained. A full evaluation of the art with photographic documentation is completed before treatments begin. These reports are then updated daily as treatments progress to the finished work.
