Tayloe White – autobiography… Ever since I was two and got caught coloring on the laundry room walls, I knew I was an artist. After graduating from the University of Florida, I spent time as a director for a not-for-profit organization that specialized in mentoring children. I believe spending so much time with young people directed my art work to portraiture. My travels have led me to Europe and Asia to gain a personal understanding of the masters and the styles that characterize great art. As a result of this exposure, I am able to move beyond the familiar and create a truly personal style that is born of passion, not custom. Finally, with this rich balance of multicultural influences and blessed by my relationship with my loved ones, I live in Florida, where I create portraits and original paintings that are exhibited nationally and can be found in the homes of people from all spectrums of life including best selling authors and Pulitzer Prize winners.
